Serving Our Community During COVID - 19
During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Team Miracle Man Charity donated face shields to a nurse at a local hospital who disclosed that she was about to quit her job because her facility could not provide adequate Person Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect them from COVID during the nationwide shortage, and our Team Member asked that she distribute the face shields to her co-workers. Team Miracle Man Charity has also provided personal equipment (PPE) reusable face shields to elderly men and women who could not afford face masks due to the nationwide manufacturer shortage. We have also provided many face masks, sustenance and health referrals to individuals in need in our communities, as well as to the homeless.

Ref: Veteran needing assistance
Hello. In response to the Veteran needing assistance, there are definitely local agencies and organizations who assist individuals and families [including Veterans] who may be in need of assistance. I am an executive Board of Directors Member of a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called Team Miracle Man Charity, Inc.
Team Miracle Man Charity is a recently established non-profit organization whose mission and goal are to promote health and wellness through advocacy, aid and awareness; and our chief aim is to assist the less fortunate and those who cannot afford healthcare. Although Team Miracle Man Charity’s primary focus is healthcare, we collaborate with and have referrals of various agencies and organizations throughout Georgia, who provide a variety of services [VA services included].
I have complied information that can be beneficial to the Veteran, of which I can provide you. Please send an email to delilah@teammiraclemancharity.org Ref: VETERAN, and please provide a number of which I can contact you as well.
For those who may be in need of assistance, whether healthcare or otherwise; Team Miracle Man Charity website will be launched very soon, at which time I will post the details on Nextdoor so that you can pass our information on to others, or perhaps utilize our services yourself…
I will end this post with Team Miracle Man Charity Motto, which is the Heart and Soul of our organization: Our Greatest Rewards Are The Lives Of Those We’ve Made Better!©

Dear Delilah,
Thank you for sharing your stories. Thank you for starting important conversations in your community. Thank you for showing us how to neighbor. Your actions remind us that even a gesture as simple as a wave can make a big difference. In fact, your welcoming waves inspired our new logo.
Over the past month, we’ve received tens of thousands of stories of the meaningful ways you and your neighbors are having an impact. From supporting a struggling neighborhood restaurant to organizing a donation drive for Hurricane Laura relief or raising money to support the local ice cream man when he fell ill, you've shown that the neighborhood is the place for real change. “Go out and tell your neighbors about the great things business owners are doing,” urges Stephanie DeVane, vice president of entrepreneurship and business development with the National Urban League.
You've also demonstrated the importance of conversation with people in proximity—not just with those who share your beliefs. We heard important discussions between prominent community members focused on bringing all neighbors to the table: businesses, public agencies, non-profits, community organizations of all kinds.
As Operation HOPE founder John Hope Bryant puts it, “Through the very nature of community, a real person is next door. We have to do something other than scream; we have to talk.”
In honor of National Neighbor Day, we hope you can find a way to reach out and celebrate or help someone nearby. Keep sharing your stories, and remember that every neighborly action counts!
